Market prospect analysis of future environmental protection cable industry
Time:2017-12-21
Since the new century, the problem of environmental protection has become more and more prominent and has been paid more and more attention all over the world. Today, individuals, enterprises, organizations, countries and even the world are actively exploring the methods of environmental protection, and related laws have been formulated and published. Wire and cable as related to all aspects of our lives a special commodity, as early as a few years ago on the production of environment-friendly cable products, after the market practice, green environmental protection cable quite popular with users, and even has been the procurement unit as the primary factor. If cable manufacturers can early concern, invest early and develop early, and firmly occupy the domestic environmental protection cable market, there is no doubt that it will be unfavorable for the future development.
Nowadays, the green cable covers reasonable expectations, and has the characteristics of non-toxic (low toxicity), no pollution, high safety and reliability, long service life, easy separation and recycling, and so on. Before paying attention to the development of green environmental protection cable, the traditional cable basically processes and uses various chemical raw materials at high temperature. The whole product life cycle will have a negative impact on the environment, and many cables are quite serious pollution sources. A large number of dioxins, heavy metals, halogens, etc., which are harmful to the environment, are produced in the process of manufacturing, use and disposal. PVC cable material contains ammonia, though flame retardant, once burning, it will produce toxic gases such as hydrogen chloride and halogenated hydrogen, and at the same time produce a lot of thick smoke, which will endanger human safety and endanger fire fighting. Cable scrap is difficult to deal with, buried in the ground, l
ead stabilizer spread underground latent, causing environmental hazards and ecological damage. When burning PVC materials, it is easy to produce dioxin and other carcinogens.
It is understood that the world's cable manufacturing industry produces 5 million tons of waste in the production process each year. And 10% of the long stored cable products will become waste, not only pollution to the environment, but also a great waste of natural resources. At present, the reutilization ratio of copper and aluminum in the cable materials is over 95%, while the reutilization rate of PVC and PE is only 3%.
At present, whether China or some international professional organizations are actively through the formulation of relevant standards, including the formulation of GB/1648.9-1996 "environmental protection control standard for imported scrap, scrap wire cable", strict requirements of lead and its compounds waste shall not exceed 1/10000 of the weight of imported scrap wire. In order to encourage and require cable enterprises to produce green and environmentally friendly cable. For example, China's relevant laws and regulations require that PVC cables should be prohibited in important buildings. The halogen free and low smoke cross-linked polyolefin insulated wire and cable must be used to avoid heavy smoke and chlorine gas and casualties.
And in major construction, it is also mandatory to use environment-friendly cables. For example, in 2008, the Beijing Olympic Games were all environmentally friendly, including environmentally friendly cables. During the period of World Expo in Shanghai in 2010, all the pavilions also used environmentally friendly materials. In addition, as early as October 2002, the Shanghai Construction Commission stipulated that non environmental cables such as PVC should not be used in large buildings or public places. It is clear that civil buildings with a height of more than 100 meters must use low smoke non halogen a class fire retardant wire and cable. The high-rise buildings with a height above 100 meters and civilian buildings below 100 meters, such as hospitals of a certain size, entertainment places, underground shopping malls, libraries, stations, supermarkets, terminal buildings, office buildings and so on, should use smoke-free, low halogen and flame-retardant cables.
In the foreign market, more attention is paid to the use of green and environment-friendly cables. For example, the EU has also enacted a mandatory directive "directive on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment in the" (ROHS), the standard of electrical and electronic products in the lead, mercury, cadmium, six chromium, polybrominated biphenyls and polybrominated diphenyl ethers in all 6 substances made limited. The ROHS directive, though mandatory, is far from harsh. In 2007, the EU's REACH directive could be said to be daunting.
In order to comply with the requirements of REACH regulations, Chinese enterprises have spent a huge amount of REACH registration fees and increased SVHC testing fees. Many companies have been psychologically afraid of REACH regulations, or even quit the EU market. Compared with RoHS, the REACH directive covers a wider range of products and manufacturing processes from mining to textile and clothing, light industry and mechanical and electrical industries. The REACH directive has very strict restrictions on the use of chemicals that are harmful to the human body and the environment. It is required that any kind of high concern substance (SVHC) for any kind of high concern material (SVHC) over a year is not more than 0.1% of the total weight of the total goods.
In December 19, 2011, the list of authorized substances for the REACH regulations has increased to 73. By the end of April 2013, the list of highly concerned substances (SVHC) has 144 harmful chemicals, such as cadmium, cadmium oxide, two phthalic acid, two tetrafluoroborate, lead zirconium titanate and so on. It is not difficult to see that the list of REACH regulatory concerns is increasing.
At present, the representative green environmental cables at home and abroad mainly include flame retardant cable and fireproof cable. Among them, some high-end products such as low smoke, halogen free wire and cable, irradiated cable and other high-end products are increasing. The low smoke halogen free cable is mainly used in the social places such as rail traffic, hospital, school and other social places. It is very obvious that the use of new special materials with no pollution to the environment, production or use of the process of combustion will not produce toxic gas, acid gas
